It is not common for footballers to wear glasses while playing but Edgar Davids did just that very successfully.

FIFA lays out the rules and says this:

There is also a paragraph where is written: "In view of the new technology that has made sports spectacles much safer, both for the wearer and for other players, referees should show tolerance when authorizing their use, particularly for younger players."

Not everybody can or wants to wear contact lenses although for many sports this is the chosen method of correcting your eyesight, for those people and especially for younger children we suggest a sports specific eyewear product which gives much better protection than ordinary glasses and won't get broken.
